This is a pic of the road that I walk everyday when I'm at work. It is a one lane road with ditches on either side. It goes just beyond the tower that you see on the left. It totals 1.25 miles both ways. It's kinda freeky when there is a gator up on shore or in the middle of the road. One time there was a gator sunning in the middle of the road when we were on our way back. We freaked. The road is not well traveled but a truck did happen to come by after a few minutes and scare him off. We see tons of wild life. It's something new everyday.
This osprey had a twig in his clutches. Spring time is in the air.

There are tons of turtles out here. They lay their eggs right on the side of the road. We get to see the eggs on the surface after they hatch. It would be cool to see a baby crawling out of the hole one day.

This is this gators favorite spot, I'd guess that he's between 8-10 feet long.

These vultures are ewwww, they won't move when you walk by and they stink.

We watched a family of these guys grow up here last spring. They were so cute. We would count them everyday. Their were seven babies in all when they 1st appeared.

This bird was eating bugs the piglet dug up. Lazy bird or smart bird? Probably a little of both.

We see this family of pigs almost everyday. They are my favorite sight of all. We have seen between 10-15 in this group. They are all different colors and sizes. These are babies.

This gator is only about 3 feet long. He looks big in this pic but he's a little guy

Hope you enjoyed the show. Just thought that I would share a little about my day at work.
