Baseball time again!!!

It's Baseball time again.

I looove baseball. I don't like to watch it on T.V. but I did go to a professional game and it was so exciting. I loved to play as a kid as well. Here is a pic of me when I was 12 or so, I'm the only girl on the team. The little girl with the cup is my niece Michelle. When I was in my twenties I played softball for a couple of years and loved to play then as well. Darrel also played baseball when he was a kid, he still has his glove and uniforms. I always wanted my kids to play but Alexis was too girly for it and that was ok. Trey started playing when he was 5 and seemed to really enjoy it. I was so happy. I wanted to coach his team but didn't feel knowledgeable enough to do it so I thought team mom would be ok.

I was so excited when I was asked to be coach for Trey's team last year. I could hardly hold back my excitement when Trey's coach asked me if I wanted to help out. Trey thought it was weird, he wanted his Dad to be coach but Darrel was working nights at the time and wouldn't be able to make the practices. I tried not to let his remark discourage me, he wasn't going to ruin my dream.

Trey did very well last year. He's not completely dedicated yet but I have a feeling he will this year. His Dad is coaching!!!!

Last year he played 3rd base most of the time and it was his favorite position.

I think hitting is his and every other kids favorite thing to do.

Oh, and getting the other team out is fun too. He's out!! Good job Trey.

I just love Baseball, I hope Trey will love it as much as Darrel and I do. It's so much fun.

Oh, I just have to add that the last kid on the bench is a girl and she was awesome.
